The short version
BitPlay AI: Crypto Portfolio ("the App") is built around a simple idea: your portfolio belongs on your device, not on our servers. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, wallet addresses, or any other personally identifiable information. There is no user-to-user data sharing. You are not creating a social profile — you are using a private educational tool.
What stays on your device
All portfolio entries you add manually — coin types, amounts, and related tracking data — are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not sync this information to cloud servers operated by vpn-cardiff. If you delete the App, that local data goes with it.
What we might receive (and nothing more)
To keep the App functional, a small set of non-personal technical signals may be processed:
- Anonymous device identifier — a randomly generated unique ID used solely for analytics attribution and push notification delivery. It cannot identify you as a person.
- Text you type into AI features — when you use AI-powered tools (such as daily summaries or Play Mode explanations), only the text content of your message is sent to generate a response. No personal profile, contact details, or portfolio identity is attached.
- Basic usage events — such as which screens are opened or whether a notification was delivered. These help us understand if features work, not who you are.
Third-party services we rely on
The App integrates independent third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them:
-
Singular — attribution and analytics platform. Receives the anonymous device ID and aggregated usage events. Does not receive your portfolio holdings or personal details.
singular.net/privacy-policy -
OneSignal — push notification delivery service. Uses the anonymous device ID to route daily Pulse reports and app updates to your device. No personal contact information is shared.
onesignal.com/privacy_policy -
OpenAI — third-party AI text generation service. When you interact with AI features, only the plain text of your typed message is transmitted to generate a response. OpenAI processes this as a third-party service provider; we do not send names, emails, device contacts, location, or portfolio identity alongside your message.

What we deliberately do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any data — because there is essentially nothing personal to sell.
- We do not operate a social network or peer-to-peer data exchange between users.
- We do not require account registration, login credentials, or email verification.
- We do not access your photo library, contacts, microphone, or location for portfolio tracking.
- We do not use your data to provide financial advice or trading recommendations.
Push notifications
If you opt in to notifications, OneSignal delivers messages such as your daily AI Pulse report. You can disable notifications at any time through your device Settings. No personal information is needed to send these — only the anonymous device token.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
