House notes
What the club keeps
VPN Cardiff LTD · Effective 9 October 2026
Bettersporte is a private training journal. It behaves like a clubhouse with one member inside: you. It is not a social pitch, and it is not a filing cabinet of personal identities. These notes say what actually happens. They are not a generic policy with the name swapped in at the top.
01 No personal collection
The developer does not collect personal data. Bettersporte does not ask you to hand over a name, a home address, a photograph, a contact book, or a story about who you are.
The most the club uses to tell one install from another — for tracking, and for push notifications — is a unique identifier. That identifier is not your name, and it is not a way for other people to find you.
02 Members do not trade data
Users do not pass data to each other. There is no shared feed, no opponent who can open your journal, and no path by which one person's sessions are delivered to another person through Bettersporte. Your club stays yours. Theirs stays theirs.
03 Services on the touchline
A few outside firms help the app do specific jobs. They are third-party services. They are not other members of the club, and they are not a back door between users.
-
Firebase
Firebase is a third-party service used in the operation of the app.
-
Singular
Singular is a third-party service used for tracking. From the developer's side, what it works with is a unique identifier, not a personal profile.
-
OneSignal
OneSignal is a third-party service used to deliver push notifications. Delivery uses a unique identifier. Notifications can be switched off in the club profile, and the phone itself can refuse them.
04 The text sent to OpenAI
OpenAI is a third-party service. It generates the wording of the Director Summary.
When a summary is requested, you send only the text of the message you typed. That is the entire sending. No name, no email address, no telephone number, and no other personal information is attached to it.
The service uses that text to write the report. It does not receive a personal dossier, because the club does not keep one to attach. The sentences that come back are generated text about activity, not a claim that the publisher knows who you are.
05 A session is a log of minutes
A logged activity keeps a sport, a duration, an intensity and an optional note. Read plainly, it is a training diary. The developer does not take that diary as a collection of personal data.
06 The derby is a local sum
When a seven-day derby ends, the winner is calculated on the device, by the percentage of each target completed. The result is then kept in your Chronicle. The arithmetic does not need another member, and it does not need you to identify yourself.
07 If these notes change
A later issue of these house notes replaces this one when the date at the top moves. This issue is dated 9 October 2026.
08 Write to the publisher
If something in the app seems to ask for personal information by mistake, say so. Correspondence for these notes goes to the publisher.
