Club articles

Rules of the programme

These articles are the rules that come with Bettersporte. They are written as a club notice, not as a wall of borrowed legal furniture. The practical commitments are still plain, and they sit in the numbered lines below.

I Stepping in

By using Bettersporte you take these articles as the rules of the club. If they do not suit you, the straightforward reply is not to use the app. The programme is published by VPN Cardiff LTD.

II What the club is

Bettersporte is a journal for more than one sport. It lets you keep a roster, log a session with duration, intensity and an optional note, read one combined summary, run a seven-day derby, and look back through a chronicle.

It is a record and a prompt. It is not a promise that a particular week of training will follow, and it is not a coach standing on the touchline.

III A pitch with no visiting members

The club is private. Users do not transmit data to one another through the app. Another person's log does not arrive in your chronicle, and yours is not handed across.

The developer does not collect personal data. A unique identifier may be used for tracking and for push notifications. Nothing broader than that is gathered as a personal profile. The house notes on what the club keeps say the same thing at fuller length.

IV Outside firms

The app relies on third-party services for particular jobs. Their systems are theirs. Bettersporte does not turn them into a social network between users.

  • Firebase

A third-party service used in the operation of the app.

  • Singular

A third-party service used for tracking, working from a unique identifier.

  • OneSignal

A third-party service used for push notifications, also by way of a unique identifier. You can switch notifications off in the club profile.

  • OpenAI

A third-party service used to generate the text of the Director Summary. Article V is the whole of what is sent.

V The director's text

OpenAI is a third-party service. The only material sent for a generated summary is the text of the message you typed. No personal information is added to that text. No name, no email, no telephone number.

The sentences that come back are generated wording about your logged activity. They can be incomplete. They are not a contract, not an order from a coach, and not a medical opinion.

VI Derby of the Week

A derby can be opened when at least two sports are on the roster. Each side receives a target in minutes based on your history. A neglected sport may be given a lower target, and a familiar one may need more minutes to win.

Progress fills as you log activity. You do not keep a second score by hand. After seven days the winner is decided on the device by percentage of target completed, and the score is saved in the Chronicle.

VII A record, not a diagnosis

Training notes are not medical advice. The director's summary is informational and is not medical guidance. Questions about health, injury or whether you should train belong with a doctor, not with this programme.

VIII The programme itself

The name Bettersporte, this programme, and the app are published by VPN Cardiff LTD. You receive a way to use the club journal. You do not receive ownership of the app.

IX A later issue

These articles are dated 9 October 2026. If they are replaced, the date on the page moves with them. Using the app after that date means the new issue is the one in force.

X Correspondence

Questions about these articles can be sent to the publisher. The same desk answers the contact page.
